Minutes approved for the February meeting.
Discussion relative to Farmers’ Mkt. and Mkt. manager position.
After 4 years of operation, The Board has voted not to continue the Princeton Farmers’ Market. This was due to many factors: declining number of vendors, more competition from area Farmers’ Markets, and lack of someone to fill the Market Manager position.
Report on Hey Day 2012 –October 6, 2012- planning meetings begin in April
Discussion concerning the Board’s new project of a Princeton Farmers’ Blog.
The Board voted to join the Massachusetts Association of Agricultural Commissions, Inc. again this year. Jane Fife attended the Annual Meeting of MAAC held on February 24, 2012 in Sturbridge, Massachusetts and gave us a report on the conference.
The Board voted that our next meeting would be May 2, 2012.
Meeting was adjoined at 7:20 PM.
